LIMITED RUN - FIVE SHOWS ONLY!

Join us for a theatrical revival of Science Fiction cult classic “ALIENS CUT MY HAIR”, a film shot locally in San Francisco during the 1990s, REMIXED with fresh live performances in a vacant Castro District storefront.

Aliens Cut My Hair

Showcasing talent both old and new, this production is a tribute to the radical queers who shape our culture both yesterday & today, with famed local performers Suppositori Spelling, Veronica Klaus, Elvis Herselvis, Artist Malcolm Drake, Duplicity Dilemma and many others.

"Aliens Cut My Hair" is a comedic farce featuring the exploits of an evil stylist ("Trendar") from the Planet Hairdo who gives people non-consensual "lawnmower" haircuts "for Art" and uses hair products to turn her patrons into oversexed Luv Zombie humanoid robot slaves.   But when the crew of the Starship Penetrator arrives at the Galactic Hairball things really heat up, as Nurse Lucy realizes that Trendar plans to give Captain Priapus a deadly Miracle Makeover.  Is it too late to save the Penetrator?

Based on the 1980s comic strip by Gentry Johnson.
Transformed into film in 1991 by Michael Macintosh.
Extended & Blended with live performances in 2010 by Comfort & Joy!

Faetopia Festival 2010

The Faetopia Festival transforms an empty Castro District storefront into visions of the potential future utopias we could create together (versus the various dystopias that surround us today).  Featuring local artistry, an EcoHomo ecology center, performance art, Cuddle Cinema and future-oriented workshops throughout the week, Faetopia redefines how vacant commercial space can be used to grow our community.  Sponsored by Comfort & Joy with support from the Church of Nomenus, Cafe Flore, Eco Homo SF and Taylor's Tonics.
